... visiting country friends ...
Only two hours from Brisbane or the Gold Coast, Kyogle is a town where people can choose to take their time. It’s a town where people still take horses to work, still work in the forests or pursue creative skills from homes in the rainforest or among the green, rolling hills.
Kyogle Motel is a relaxed, friendly stop-over or base for a short break from city life doing what you like best. Whether that's alone or in groups, it could be bush walking, cycling or touring country roads on a motor bike or in a classic car, bird watching, or photography. The local area has plenty to offer.
Owner-operators Shun and Michael Donnolley will ensure your stay is more like visiting friends in the country than staying in just another motel.
Kyogle Motel is famous for its food- nothing fancy, just simple, fresh food with no added fat that's prepared just for you. The rib eye fillet steaks are locally-grown and sourced from Kyogle farms. The enormous lamb chops are from New England. The way they prepare fish is considered unique.
Of course, pets are welcome onsite but not in rooms. If your pet isn't happy in the car, there's always a dog bed for the verandah.
